About
Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), the Executive Peak Body for people with disability in Queensland, hosts a free monthly Peer Support Group in Toowoomba for anyone who identifies as having a disability. The group is led by people with disability, for people with disability, creating a welcoming and inclusive space to connect with others who share similar lived experiences.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month.
Our peer support groups provide an opportunity to share experiences, exchange information, build connections, and discuss topics that matter to you in a supportive environment.
Meetings are free to attend and are open to anyone who identifies as having a disability. There is no need to RSVP or become a QDN member to participate.
To help make attending easier, taxi vouchers are available for those who require transport assistance, and light refreshments are provided at every meeting.
Whether you come along once or join us every month, you're always welcome.
Each meeting typically features a guest speaker who shares information, experiences, or resources relevant to the group. If you have ideas or requests for future guest speakers or discussion topics, we'd love to hear from you - please contact QDN's Power of Peers Team.
