About the Event
About
The Gibb Challenge is an extraordinary week long cycling adventure tracing the iconic Kimberley stock route of the Gibb River Road from the deep port town of Derby, through the vast pastoral leases of the central Kimberley and on to the community celebrations of the east Kimberley with the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster.
The Gibb Challenge is a socially competitive, team relay mountain bike event promoting active recreation whilst raising community awareness and funds for charity.
The Gibb Challenge now features an exciting prologue stage in Broome to celebrate the spiritual home of 'The Gibb' with the AusCycling Fat Bike National Championships.
Set on world-acclaimed Cable Beach, the Championships use improvised and natural beach obstacles to create a unique race experience for elite and competitive riders in Australia's only sanctioned fat bike championships.
