A Day on the Beach

A Day on the Beach is a celebration of Australia Day, the Australian lifestyle and all facets that define our culture. There will be loads of free sporting activities, live music, sandcastle competition, beachside breakfast, two Big Aussie BBQ's, double decker buses, sailing, swimming, giant inflatable slide and the pristine backdrop of Kingston Beach. The day involves sports clubs, community groups and not for profit organisations who set up their services or sport on Kingston Beach, giving kids and parents a chance to experience sports and activities that they perhaps haven't before. The day enables community and sports groups to, at no charge (except set up costs) put themselves on display, drive memberships, registrations and interest.
