Exhibitions showcase the creativity of Glenorchy Community

Two new exhibitions at Moonah Arts Centre (MAC). It’s time for the return of MAC’s much-loved annual exhibition the "Glenorchy Open"! Open to all artists living or working in the Glenorchy City municipality, this exhibition celebrates the creativity of our community. The exhibition features paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, photographs, ceramics, textiles, digital artworks and more! Exhibiting artists include established practitioners, emerging artists, hobbyists and students. The second exhibition, "Into the Fold", is an exhibition of pattern and textile design by a group of multicultural women from Glenorchy. The exhibition brings together creative women from our community to share their stories and explore the journey of belonging. The fabric and artworks displayed are the outcome of a series of workshops and skill-sharing sessions facilitated by the Moonah Arts Centre over 6 months. The exhibitions can be viewed at Moonah Arts Centre, 23-27 Albert Road Moonah, from 6 March until 28 March. MAC is open Tuesday to Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday 11 am – 3 pm.
