DescriptionKokatha country [Kookatha, Kokata, Gugada] covers a large area in the west of the state of South Australia, including the land around the Olympic Dam Project at Roxby Downs. It lies south of the Yankunytjatjara, Antakirinja and Arabana languages, west of the Barngarla language and north of the Wirangu language. Today many Kokatha people live in Port Augusta and the Far North.
