Indigenous Flavours on the Sea- Tasting Australia presented by RAA travel

This lunchtime cruise along Adelaide's glittering coastline will feature fresh local seafood and cultural insights from an Aboriginal guest speaker. Upon boarding Adelaide Ocean Safari's brand-new, stylish state-of-the art vessel at Glenelg you'll be greeted with a glass of Australian Green Ant Gin - the delicious result of a collaboration between Something Wild and Adelaide Hills Distillery. Enjoy its notes of lime and coriander while taking in the view. Lunch will be a large shared platter piled high with native ingredients and South Australian produce including oysters, prawns and a selection of canapés. Pair your plate with beer or wine - both will be available to purchase. Gather around after the meal for insights and stories from a local Aboriginal speaker. You'll learn about their connection to land and sea, and discover more about ingredients featured in the lunch platter. Green ants, for instance, were traditionally favoured by indigenous societies for their medicinal benefits and protein content. Two-hour journey complete - and memories made - you'll cruise back to Glenelg.
