A volunteer-based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the rural families, our volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed.

St Vincent de Paul Drought Assistance

If you are a farmer, farm worker or farm supplier/contractor who is doing it tough because of the drought you may be entitled to receive a one-off payment of $3,000 funded by the Australian Government’s Drought Community Support Initiative Round 2 (DCSI).

Rural Aid Australia

Assistance for primary producers in fire, drought or flood help with $1,500 to pay bills, register for Buy-A-Bale for fodder for livestock, access to water, or help with food or other costs.

Department of Human Services Farm Household Allowance
A payment for farming families in financial hardship.If you’ve been affected by the bushfires, you can continue to get Farm Household Allowance if you intend to return to farming.
