Hairy Maclary and Slinky Malinki are just two of the wonderful characters coming to the LibraryMuseum in 2020. The Lynley Dodd Story is a beautiful exhibition featuring over 50 original artworks from New Zealand author and illustrator, Dame Lynley Dodd. The exhibition charts her early work, the magic behind the development of her artwork and her amazing characters including some of the lesser-known ones. The exhibition features a quiet reading corner, where young and old alike can explore Lynley Dodd’s stories, and a sketch table for budding illustrators of all ages. Books used in the exhibition kindly supplied by Penguin Random House. This exhibition was curated for the Awesome Festival Perth, and first exhibited at the State Library of Western Australia.
