About
Nancy Knudsen met her second husband, Ted Nobbs, through sailing, and her first book, Shooting Stars And Flying Fish, chronicles their six years sailing around the world. It was during this trip that Nobbs was offered a job teaching architecture for a semester at Istanbul University in 2004.
Thus began one of the strangest, most life-changing, humbling, wonderful six years of her life.
Accidentally Istanbul is one Australian woman's humorous story of the mishaps of being plunged, without warning, into the customs and intricacies of an ancient culture now melded with Western democratic ideals.
Join Nancy Knudsen as she reads from her book and shares stories about her experiences in Istanbul.
