Warm Trees 2026

The Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra are delighted to announce the return of Warm Trees as part of Winter in the Woods at the Arboretum in late June. This year’s display theme, “Getting to Know Your Arboretum”, invites visitors to explore the Arboretum’s forests and gardens - and discover the birds, animals and insects that call this landscape home.

Experience the magic of winter as trees are wrapped in vibrant, handcrafted scarves, adding warmth and colour to the season. The installation will be on display daily from 26 June to 9 August 2026. Visitors can also enjoy the beautifully decorated entrance to the Visitor Centre, inspired by the natural beauty of the Arboretum.
