About

The first part of the class involves a full tea tasting exploring different types of teas and herbal blends. You'll hear a little about tea, where it comes from, how it's grown and about tea in Australia. Then you will launch into hands-on tea blending. You will use about 40 different botanicals (herbs, roots, seeds, barks etc.) combined with an appropriate tea or tisane base to form your own unique formula. Many of the botanicals are from Australia and have a long and interesting history of Indigenous use (e.g. lemon myrtle, wattle seeds, pepper berries, aniseed myrtle, dorigio pepper). Your qualified Tea Sommelier (tea expert) will be there to answer all of your questions and help guide you to make a great tea blend that you will love to drink. When you are all done you will leave the class with your own unique tea blend in a beautiful glass amber jar for keepsake and storage. Entry Cost All tickets $62 - Save when you book for a group
