Open Doors Weekend is a special weekend in South Australia where you can enter buildings not normally open to the public. It is part of the lead up to History Month. This easy paced walking tour takes you inside St Paul's Lutheran church and to the forgotten fachwerk barn on Beerenberg Family Farm. Recently restored by the Paech family. A comfortable distance of 1 km. Understand the reason for the immigration of the Old Lutherans and why they left their homeland to come to South Australia in 1838, (and then Klemzig) to come up to the Adelaide Hills. Refreshment provided. Discount sheet provided for the village. Book early! Due to current advice on public gatherings, please contact the host of this event to confirm it is proceeding as planned.
