City of Sydney - Christmas in the City

It’s time to dust off your reindeer ears, put on your party shoes and kick off Christmas. See Sydney’s city centre come alive with a street party involving roaming entertainers, roller-skating bauble, magicians, pop up stages, craft, choirs, lights, decorations and a dance floor. Kids’ entertainers will be live on the streets to party with you, including Jimmy Giggle, Justine Clarke, SplashDance and The Nannas and The Poppas. KIIS 106.5 will bring everyone’s favourite Christmas day at the beach to the heart of Sydney’s retail precinct. See Santa in his reindeer tricycle-led sleigh. The Martin Place Christmas Tree will host a sound and light show every 15 minutes from 7.30pm. Brilliant fireworks will light up Sydney’s skyline. With an array of shopping, there’ll be something for everyone. Santa stockings packed with goodies will be on sale for AUD5. Proceeds go to their charity partner Surf Life Saving NSW. There’ll be food for purchase throughout the event. GPO Dessert Bar will be back. Treat yourself to a tempting range of gelato, sweets, cakes, coffee, cold beverages and savoury options. A water refill station will be located at the Martin Place fountain. Companion animals are permitted.
