Wheel throwing pottery class

Enjoy a fun and relaxing pottery workshop, in the tranquil surrounds of Bundeena. Discover the magic of throwing clay on a potters wheel in this hands on introductory class. You'll get an overview of the components and operation of a pottery wheel, find out why and how clay is prepared before throwing, and experience the thrill of learning throwing techniques including centering, opening and raising, hands-on. You will make three pieces including a cup, bowl and plate. You'll also get to choose the glaze colour for each of the pieces you make which will then be fired.
