Carcoar Show

This Show is known as “The Best Little Show in the Country” and features many of the usual competitions displayed at Country Shows. Hotly contested is “The Blokes Cake”, made by blokes only and vying for the AUD100 and the Golden Whisk Trophy. The other cake competition is The Feature Cake, made to a recipe chosen by the committee and featured in the schedule. Carcoar Show is a great day out for the family with many activities for the children including free entertainment. Magic shows, gold panning, animal nursery, Balancing Man are some of the acts that have been entertaining the children over the last few years with the committee constantly seeking out new ideas. The famous Show Society barbecue, afternoon tea rooms, soft drink stall and the Bar are all conducted by volunteers and are a great social gathering point. Sportshear, Woodchop, Yard Dogs and the Ring Events are all entertaining and the Show always has plenty of displays in the Pavilion (Home Products, Photography, Craft, Flowers, Art and a display of School Work by the local primary schools) So come along, bring the family and enjoy a day out at The Carcoar Show.
